Day 1: Cape Town

Arrival at Cape Town International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by a our
representative and assisted with your transfer to the pre-booked hotel.
Cape Town, one of the world’s most sought-after long-haul destinations, is celebrated for its
breathtaking natural setting. Its distinctive geography makes navigation simple – with Table
Mountain standing proudly behind you and Robben Island ahead, you face north, overlooking Table
Bay and the scenic west coast of Africa.

After breakfast, set out on a half-day guided tour of the Mother City, exploring its rich history and
vibrant culture.
Enjoy a scenic coastal drive past the stylish suburbs of Clifton and Sea Point, followed by a city
orientation covering iconic landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament, Castle of Good Hope,
South African Museum, and historic areas including District Six, the colorful Bo-Kaap, Slave Lodge,
and the lively Greenmarket Square.
Experience a memorable cable car ride to Table Mountain (weather permitting; alternatively visit
Signal Hill) and soak in the breathtaking panoramic views of Cape Town (entrance included). Return to
your hotel afterward.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing on a full-day Cape Peninsula tour, showcasing some of
South Africa’s most dramatic coastal scenery.
Travel along the stunning Atlantic Seaboard, passing Sea Point and Camps Bay, and admire the
renowned beaches of Clifton and Llandudno en route to Hout Bay. Continue through the scenic
villages of Noordhoek and Scarborough, discovering why this region is known as the “Fairest Cape.”
Enter the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and take the “Flying Dutchman” funicular up to the
viewpoint, where unforgettable panoramic vistas await. Capture memorable photos at the second
southernmost tip of the African continent.
Visit the picturesque Boulders Beach, home to the charming Jackass Penguin colony, with time to
observe and photograph these delightful birds.
Make a brief stop at the historic naval town of Simon’s Town, learning about the legendary Able
Seaman Just Nuisance, the Great Dane honored by the Royal Navy.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Oudtshoorn (approx. 421 km / 51⁄2 hours by road). Oudtshoorn is famously known as the “Feather Capital of the World”, renowned for its thriving ostrich industry.
Upon arrival, proceed for an afternoon visit to the Wildlife Ranch, including a tour of the Crocodile Park, where you will also have the opportunity to take photographs with cheetahs.
Later, check in at the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, relaxing in the comfort of your hotel.

After breakfast, set out for a visit to the magnificent Cango Caves. Explore the underground chambers
and admire the striking limestone formations, considered among South Africa’s most impressive
natural attractions
Later, enjoy a guided visit to a local Ostrich Farm, followed by your transfer to Knysna (approx. 119
km / 2 hours).
On arrival in Knysna, proceed for a scenic lagoon cruise on the Knysna Lagoon.
Take in breathtaking views of the dramatic sandstone “Knysna Heads” guarding the entrance to the
lagoon, along with the surrounding lush forests, wetlands, and unspoiled beaches.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to George Airport (approx. 63 km / 1 hour) to board your flight
to Johannesburg. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a Travcare representative and continue by
road to Sun City (approx. 175 km / 21⁄2 hours).
The spectacular Sun City Resort is set amidst championship golf courses, multiple swimming pools,
and a vast man-made lake offering a variety of water sports. Optional activities include an
unforgettable Hot Air Balloon ride. Enjoy lunch at the Raj Indian Restaurant (at own expense). Later,
unwind at the famous Valley of the Waves or stroll through the enchanting Gardens of the Lost City.
This iconic destination also features a vibrant Casino and Entertainment Centre, dazzling live shows,
and a wide selection of restaurants to suit every palate.

After breakfast, enjoy a day at leisure to relax and make the most of the resort’s facilities. You may opt
for an optional game drive to Pilanesberg National Park, home to the famous Big Five (game drive cost
not included).

After breakfast, proceed on a scenic road transfer to Kruger National Park. Travel time varies by
lodge location: approx. 570 km / 7 hours to Kruger Gate, 530 km / 61⁄2 hours to Hazyview, or 650 km /
8 hours to Imbali Safari Lodge.
Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and oldest wildlife reserves, is renowned for its
exceptional biodiversity. The park is home to the iconic Big Five and an abundance of birdlife across
diverse habitats. You are likely to spot animals such as elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, lion, hippo,
impala, kudu, wildebeest, and many more. With some luck, you may also encounter rarer species
including leopard, cheetah, wild dog, rhino, sable antelope, honey badger, and aardvark.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax amid the natural surroundings.

Early morning, collect your packed breakfast and set out for an exciting morning game drive within
Kruger National Park, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife in their natural habitat.
Afterward, enjoy lunch at your own expense, followed by an equally thrilling afternoon game drive.

After breakfast, check out and depart for Johannesburg by road. Travel distance and time vary by
departure point: approx. 430 km / 5 hours from Kruger Gate, 415 km / 5 hours from Hazyview, or 530
km / 7 hours from Imbali Safari Lodge. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be transferred to your
hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for a visit to Gold Reef City (open Thursday to Sunday only).
Experience a fascinating re-creation of Johannesburg’s Gold Rush era, built around an authentic
gold mine. Attractions include a lively Victorian-style fun fair, restored miners’ cottages, a traditional
brewery, pubs, restaurants, and a historic stock exchange. Watch molten gold being poured,
descend into an old mine shaft, and enjoy vibrant tribal dance performances. Later, return to the
hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to O.R. Tambo International Airport for your return flight home.
