Timeline
Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour Half Day
Welcome to Hanoi! – the capital of Vietnam, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture.
We will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the city center. You will have free time to relax after long flight.
This afternoon, we visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (from outside as closed in the afternoon), as well as his private residence from 1954 until 1969. The wooden ethnic minority style house, which was built on stilts, is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens. In the same complex you will see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. This structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years. Continue visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and then take a leisure walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, medicines to crafts.
Day 2: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Day Cruise (4 hours)
After breakfast, we start our journey east to Halong Bay on HIGHWAY (approx. 2,5-hour driving).
Upon arrival in Halong, transfer to the pier and board a charming traditional wooden junk for cruising through the Bay. The cruise passes by rock formations with such names as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong), and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi).
Lunch on board (local foods, set menu, water and drinks at meal excluded).
At the core of the islets, there are wonderful caves to visit called Thien Cung and Dau Go Cave. You visit the caves or just choose to relax on the boat.
After 4 hours of cruising and exploring the Bay, we disembark at Halong pier and return to Hanoi through Highway.
Day 3: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi
Have breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up at your hotel. Get private transfer for your journey to Ninh Binh, the ancient capital of Vietnam. The 90-kilometer drive south will take you through stunning countryside, where rice paddies stretch to the horizon and sometimes seeing water buffalo graze in the fields. In Ninh Binh, you’ll visit Hoa Lu, the site of the Dinh and Le temples. These temples were built in the 10th century to honor the Dinh and Le kings of Vietnam. They are famous for their beautiful wooden carvings.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip through Tam Coc, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning landscape is home to towering limestone karsts that rise up from the lush green rice paddies. It’s been called the “Halong Bay on Land,” and it’s easy to see why. After your boat trip, you’ll drive back to Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Fly To Da Nang – Cam Thanh Coconut Village – Hoi An Ancient Town
Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Then our car and driver will pick you up from the hotel with our local tour guide and transfer the the airport for the short flight to Da Nang (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival at Da nang you will be picked up our local tour guide.
In the afternoon, we transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat . Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own.
After our transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, we will be immersed in a magical world of Oriental feel. We will walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient houses. We can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon river. Here, we may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration.
The rest of the time is free for shopping. Hoi An is legendary for its affordable yet quality tailoring services. The streets of the ancient town are also lined with shop houses and makeshift stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, traditional apparel, and shoes. The central marketplace is filled with locals bargaining for fresh produce and foodstuffs. Hoi An town in the evening is a magical place, where is bathed in warm yellow light from the lanterns that hang from the shophouses, and the streets are filled with the sound of music and laughter.
Day 5: Da Nang – Ba Na Hills – Golden Bridge – Da Nang
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Danang. We’ll transfer to Ba Na Hills, a French-inspired hilltop resort. We’ll take the iconic cable car, which has been awarded 5 world records, to the Ba Na Hills station. From the iconic Golden Bridge, we can admire the lush vegetation and rich terrain of the Truong Son Mountains, which stretch to the East Sea. Just a few steps away from the village is the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-high Buddha statue. The pagoda’s impressive facade is a testament to traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, we’ll head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that are perfect for photoshoots. The tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House…
Later in the afternoon, conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Go down by cable car
Day 6: Da Nang – Fly to Phu Quoc – Free at Leisure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport for your short flight to Phu Quoc with our guide (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our local tour guide and drive to hotel for checking in.
Day 7: Phu Quoc – Vinpearl Safari – Vinwonders – Grand World
After breakfast, we transfer to discover a fascinating world of animals at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc, the largest wildlife conservation park in Vietnam and the only one of its kind (semi-wildlife) in the country. Hop on our buses and enjoy a fantastic tour through the 380-hectare safari free of enclosures. See wild animals through a pane of glass while animals enjoy their natural habitats. Here you can also admire many interesting animals shows here.
Note: The Safari closes daily at 4:00 PM.
There are two main areas inside:
– The Safari zone – where guests ride a bus through open habitats while the animals roam freely outside.
– The Zoo zone – similar to a traditional zoo, where animals are in enclosures and guests walk around to view them. The bus ride in the Safari zone is included in the entrance ticket. However, the shuttle bus in the Zoo zone is optional and not included in the entrance ticket. Should you wish to use it, there is an additional charge of USD 5 per person.
This afternoon, we discover VinWonders Phu Quoc, the largest theme park in Vietnam, offering a great deal of interesting entertainment options, including exhilarating rides, waterpark slides, indoor games, street performances, musical fountains, 5D cinema, and so many more to discover.
In the same complex, we also visit Grand World Phu Quoc. With a scale of 85 hectares, the area boasts splendid and magnificent architecture that is inspired by European cities. The Venice River, or Lake of Love, is considered one of the best imitations of the original river in Venice, Italy. Here, you can choose to sit on the gondolas (at your own cost) along the river to watch the romantic scenery created by a lot of sophisticated buildings.
Day 8: Phu Quoc – Island Hopping By Canoe & Cable Car
After breakfast, pick up by guide and vehicle from your hotel and transfer to An Thoi harbor where you will embark on the canoe for an islands tour. You will pass by 12 small islets and spend time visiting 4 biggest islands of Phu Quoc including:
Mong Tay Island (or May Rut Ngoai), known as the miniature Maldives of Vietnam on the island, with unspoiled beauty, jade blue sea and long, smooth white sand beach.
Hon Gam Ghi Island (Dam Ngang) or Hon Bom, you can relax in the blue water, snorkel on the coral reefs, contemplate the interesting rock formations. May Rut Island with white sand lagoon – a unique place to chill out and check in with Bali bird’s nest, heaven’s ladder, ocean net bed, sun ring.
During the visit, if you are the fan of the colorful coral reef, you can experience sea-walk exploring the coral park with 250 identical species of creatures together with the large corals reef that are preserved nowadays (at your own expense).
Afternoon, speed boat arrives at Thom Island where we enjoy time at Theme Park and Water Park. By end of the afternoon, embark on Hon Thom cable car (about 25 minutes) across above the ocean. During the journey of nearly 8km, freely enjoy the scenery, enjoy the pristine beauty of Phu Quoc from above, record the beautiful moments of the famous in-the-earth paradise in Vietnam. Drive back to our resort to relax.
Day 9: Phu Quoc – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure or shopping until check out time and transfer to the airport with our local tour guide for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
