Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – City Tour Half Day

Welcome to Hanoi! – the capital of Vietnam, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and culture.
We will pick you up at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the city center. You will have free time to relax after long flight. 
This afternoon, we visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, inclusive of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (from outside as closed in the afternoon), as well as his private residence from 1954 until 1969. The wooden ethnic minority style house, which was built on stilts, is surrounded by lovely peaceful gardens. In the same complex you will see the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049. This structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years. Continue visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and then take a leisure walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, medicines to crafts.

After breakfast, we start our journey east to Halong Bay on HIGHWAY (approx. 2,5-hour driving).
Upon arrival in Halong, transfer to the pier and board a charming traditional wooden junk for cruising through the Bay. The cruise passes by rock formations with such names as Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong), and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi).
Lunch on board (local foods, set menu, water and drinks at meal excluded). At the core of the islets, there are wonderful caves to visit called Thien Cung and Dau Go Cave. You visit the caves or just choose to relax on the boat.
After 4 hours of cruising and exploring the Bay, we disembark at Halong pier and return to Hanoi through Highway.

Have breakfast at hotel. You will be picked up at your hotel. Get private transfer for your journey to Ninh Binh, the ancient capital of Vietnam. The 90-kilometer drive south will take you through stunning countryside, where rice paddies stretch to the horizon and sometimes seeing water buffalo graze in the fields. In Ninh Binh, you’ll visit Hoa Lu, the site of the Dinh and Le temples. These temples were built in the 10th century to honor the Dinh and Le kings of Vietnam. They are famous for their beautiful wooden carvings.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat trip through Tam Coc, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This stunning landscape is home to towering limestone karsts that rise up from the lush green rice paddies. It’s been called the “Halong Bay on Land,” and it’s easy to see why. After your boat trip, you’ll drive back to Hanoi.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
Then our car and driver will pick you up from the hotel with our local tour guide and transfer the the airport for the short flight to Da Nang (air tickets excluded). 
Upon arrival at Da nang you will be picked up our local tour guide. In the afternoon, we transfer to visit Cam Thanh village and Bay Mau coconut forest. Here you have chance to experience the traditional way of life. Take a bamboo basket boat tour through the coconut groves, learn how to paddle a traditional boat . Relax in the peaceful countryside by simply sit back and enjoy the views. Learn about traditional handicrafts by watching local artisans weave baskets and mats using coconut leaves and other natural materials. You can even try your hand at making your own.
After our transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town, we will be immersed in a magical world of Oriental feel. We will walk over the Japanese Bridge, visit Chinese Assembly halls, and explore ancient houses. We can also listen to folk music at old club-houses or stroll into the market by Thu Bon river. Here, we may feel the same inspiration as artists who have found the rooftops of Hoi An to be a source of inspiration.
The rest of the time is free for shopping. Hoi An is legendary for its affordable yet quality tailoring services. The streets of the ancient town are also lined with shop houses and makeshift stalls selling handicrafts, jewelry, traditional apparel, and shoes. The central marketplace is filled with locals bargaining for fresh produce and foodstuffs. Hoi An town in the evening is a magical place, where is bathed in warm yellow light from the lanterns that hang from the shophouses, and the streets are filled with the sound of music and laughter.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Danang. We’ll transfer to Ba Na Hills, a French-inspired hilltop resort. We’ll take the iconic cable car, which has been awarded 5 world records, to the Ba Na Hills station. From the iconic Golden Bridge, we can admire the lush vegetation and rich terrain of the Truong Son Mountains, which stretch to the East Sea. Just a few steps away from the village is the Linh Ung Pagoda, home to a 27-meter-high Buddha statue. The pagoda’s impressive facade is a testament to traditional Vietnamese architecture. Next, we’ll head to Loc Uyen Garden and Quan Am Pavilion for a walk through well-manicured landscapes that are perfect for photoshoots. The tour guide will take guests to visit Fantasy Park, join in adventurous, fun, and modern games such as Love Swing, Skiver Pilot, Fire Racing Track, Bumper Car, Ghost House…
Later in the afternoon, conquer the Peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1,487m – Visit Ba Chua Thuong Ngan Temple. Go down by cable car

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the airport with tour guide for your short flight to Ho Chi Minh city (air tickets excluded).
Upon arrival, you will be picked up and drive to hotel for checking in.
In the afternoon, start your city tour at the War Remnants Museum, one of the most famous historical attractions in Saigon. Coming to the War Remnants Museum, you can learn a part of how Vietnamese struggled and fought for their independence, freedom, and peace of the nation, as well as the locals’ perspective of the Vietnam War. The exhibits, such as weapons, documents, and photographs, displayed in the museum are firm evidence of war crimes in Vietnam and speak for the heroic actions of the former Vietnamese generation. We then visit the Reunification Palace, a witness to the fierce Vietnam War that ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall for official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the Notre Dame Cathedral (view from outside only), built between 1877 and 1883, and the colonial-styled Central Post Office, one of the city’s major landmarks. Late in the afternoon, visit Ben Thanh Market, a symbol of Saigon. Have some shopping time there.

After breakfast, we head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and local products like coconut candy, rice paper, … Upon arrival, embark on the motorboat cruising on the mighty Mekong River and viewing the life to the local people live along the river banks. We stop to visit one of 4 islands in the area. Enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music at the plantation. There we will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course we also can try it, or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee. We then embark on the small sampan boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals covered by water coconut trees.
This afternoon, we take the motorboat back to the mainland then drive back to Saigon.
Stop on the way to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, one of the biggest pagodas in the region. The beautiful structure features a mixture of Chinese, Vietnamese and Angkor (Cambodian) architectural styles.

Breakfast at the hotel. Time at leisure or shopping until check out time and transfer to the airport with our local tour guide for the departure flight back to your sweet home.
